Injunction relief is a legal remedy sought by an employer or employee to stop a certain activity or behavior. It is seeking a court order prohibiting a party from engaging in particular activities or ordering them to perform specified steps to resolve a workplace issue or dispute.

Example

An employer can seek an injunction against a former employee who breached a non-compete agreement by working for a rival. The court may impose an injunction to ban the ex-employee from working for the competition for a set length of time. This remedy is intended to preserve the employer's commercial interests and enforce the provisions of the employment contract.
