The SAP Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing SAP solutions to meet the business requirements of an organization. They work closely with clients, business analysts, and functional consultants to understand the business processes and translate them into technical specifications. The SAP Developer plays a key role in customizing and enhancing the SAP system, developing interfaces, and providing technical support and maintenance.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients and business analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Develop and customize SAP applications, reports, interfaces, conversions, and enhancements (RICEFW objects) using ABAP programming language.
- Design and implement SAP workflows, forms, and user interfaces using SAP technologies such as SAPUI5, Web Dynpro, and Adobe Forms.
- Perform system testing and debugging to ensure the quality and integrity of the developed solutions.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to integrate custom developments with standard SAP functionalities.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SAP applications, resolving issues and ensuring system stability and performance.
- Conduct code reviews and follow best practices to ensure high-quality and maintainable code.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Basis, Security, and Functional consultants, to ensure seamless integration and system compatibility.
- Stay informed about the latest SAP technologies, tools, and best practices, and proactively recommend technical solutions and improvements.
- Assist in the development of technical documentation, including technical specifications, user manuals, and training materials.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an SAP Developer, with hands-on experience in ABAP programming language and SAP development tools.
- Strong understanding of SAP modules and functionalities, such as SD, MM, FI, and HR.
- Experience in customizing and enhancing SAP solutions using ABAP, including RICEFW objects.
- Proficiency in SAP technologies, such as SAPUI5, Web Dynpro, and Adobe Forms.
- Knowledge of SAP integration technologies, such as IDoc, BAPI, and RFC.
- Experience in system testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business requirements and propose technical solutions.
